First edition of Austral Sinfónico of  Buenos Aires

On  Friday 25th and Saturday 26th of June, in the IFT theater of Austral
Buenos Aires, Argentina, was symphonic and progressive rock with
international characteristics, with the presence of renowned bands of Chile
and Argentina in addition to audio-visual of important European bands. The
show beginning on Friday 25 th, with audio-visual that occupied all the
screen of the theater (29 x 21 feed) and surround sound,  managed by
rocksinfonico.com people, with the presentation of the best songs  and all
the energy of the prestigious Italian band Malibran, of the hand of Giuseppe
Scaravilli (voice, guitar, flute), of their brother Alesio (drums), Jerry Litrico
(electric guitar) and of Angelo Mesina (bass), opportunity that we highlight
the quality of the Italian bands and the
influences of Génesis, Jethro Tull, from a  music of 70/80s,

The themes were "Malibran", "Piramid Street", "Prelude", "Bouree" (believe
or not, the magician Bouree from Jethro Tull) executed impeccably  by
Giuseppe Scaravilli, "Nuovo Regno" and finally "Malibran Reprise". They
were 16 minutes of incredible musical quality.

After that, another audio-visual, now the british band Mostly Autumn,
mentioned like the inheritors band of Pink Floyd,  where was present at
forty minutes of his best exits, like "Evergreen", "Heroes Never Die",
"Passengers", "Distant Train" and the best song of year 1999 selected by
the public in the magazine Mellotron "The Gap is too Wide". We
emphasized the voice of Heather Findlay, the impeccable execution of the
Fender Stratocaster of Bryan Josh, the keyboards of Iain Jennings and the
flute of Angela Goldthorpe, among others.  Soon the live presentations
began, with the Chilean group Jaime Trio. Previously to that the big
scream were elevated, the band began to play an incredible sound
generate in his synthesizers, and the people start to feel the influences of
Yes with

very deep elaboration, to give to all of us, the power of three impressive musicians, taken by the
magic of Jaime and transmitting all his experience to the rest of the band. People felt surprised
by the quality of this band, became in a quartet with the contribution of an invited guitarist Rodrigo
Bari from Chile too. The more acclaimed sounds were "Sonido Vital" (Vital Sound), "Breve Piesa
Rockera VIII" (Brief Piece of Rock VIII),  "Viajero Astral" (Astral Traveller). A group show us on his
pass by Buenos Aires the quality of the Chilean bands and why the have participated in the Baja
Prog of Mexico recently. Sooner the technical problems of the first moments of the festival
become in an anecdote.
The second appearance, was the Argentinean band Trantor, that began with an audio-visual
presentation, explaining the origin of its name,  with a elaborated put in scene, with the
conduction of Víctor Casabuono (voice, keyboards, guitar) the magic of Carlos Salituri (flute)
among the guitars, his drummer, we could see a young band, but with experimented musicians .
Their more resonant moments were with "China", "Leve" (Slight), "Milagros" (Miracles) and the
very artistic "Ceremonia" (Ceremony) that crowned with candles and colors all the scene. In the
end , Trantor appealed to wonderful with "Kayleigh" and "Lavender". Well by Trantor, by all that
they put on the scene, its caressing compositions sometimes the Pop thing and sometimes
entering the symphonic thing, and by the quality of its musicians, who offered a true spectacle of
international hierarchy.
The second day, Saturday 26th, was initiated with the audio-visual one of Malibran,

like the previous day taking the applause again of audience. Soon the live presentations start with the Chilean band Subterra, who
moved to the compass, the presence and the unfolding of their voice leader, MaxSanchez, who demonstrated an incredible aptitude in
scene accompanied by unusual dress and a powerful voice, The band combined the symphonic thing with the metalist, with classic
and memorable compositions of its successful CD "Sombras de Invierno" (Shadows of winter), with memorable passages like
"Presagio" (Omen), excellent opening of the show, them "Fragmentos" (Fragments), "Secretos del viento" (Secrets of the Wind)" and
new compositions called "Las Cuatro Paredes" (The Four Walls), that showed to us the international transcendence of the group that
left in Buenos Aires solid and powerful  image and explained why they played in a Baja Prog of Mexico. We emphasized the quality of
his keywords on hands of Claudio Momberg, and his drummer Eduardo Cuesta, the impeccable guitarist Gonzalo Sanchez, and  the
bass of Andres Saavedra.  Subterra contributed Austral Sinfonico with an impeccable and impressive musical and scenic unfolding.
The festival continued with new audio - visual compact of Mostly Autumn. We highlight an special moment when infinity of black globes
flow over the audience in "The Gap is too Wide" this song is a true symphonic hymn (like High Hopes). The public was thankful with
interminable  applause. The show, entered its final section, with an incomparable climate, giving to Atempo (Argentinean band) the
opportunity to close like a king of two unforgettable nights. They began played the best songs of their CD "Abismos del Tiempo"
(Abysses of the Time). With the nine movements of the "El Final" (The End), "Lluvia Mistica" (Mystical Rain), "Carcel de Sueños" (Jail of
Dreams) and "Heroe de la Soledad" (Heroe of the Solitude) and a new song called Tan-Go (symphonic tango). This is solid band
where each one of its talented musicians executes its instrument of impeccable way, but all converge harmoniously in the way of the
neosymphonic music. We emphasized the voice of Mariela González, that it began to delineate that beautiful melody of Jail of Dreams,
that soon inserts to all the band Eduardo Aguirre (guitar), Pablo Villanueva (bass), Hiro (keyboards) and Claudio Fazio (drum), Paula
and Sofía Uzal (choirs) in an integral symphonic passage broken in several  opportunities by the applause of the assistants.

Finally the musicians of Subterra and  Atempo played the legendary "Todos Juntos" (All Together) of the Jaivas, where the assistants
saw the brotherhood of the musicians of both sides of the Andes, giving a very closing applause.

As finishing of these two days, musicians (of the bands of both days of the festival and other prestigious Argentinean  bands that
attended the festival), media people, and VIP invited participated in a meeting as a backstage, organized by rocksinfonico.com to share
lunch to celebrate the successful festival, remembering the show, comment his future projects.
